In Nairobi, fuel prices have increased following a regulatory adjustment by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA). The authority raised the retail price of Super Petrol by Sh12.93, diesel by Sh9.90, and kerosene by Sh28.49.
A litre of Super Petrol now costs Sh226.96, diesel is priced at Sh227.76, and kerosene is available for Sh219.87. The changes were announced by EPRA, which oversees fuel pricing in the country.
Fuel price adjustments in Nairobi are often linked to fluctuations in global oil markets and domestic economic conditions. This latest update follows previous increases in 2023, which were driven by rising international crude oil prices. The regulator has stated that the new prices are in line with current market conditions and are subject to further review.
