Britam Asset Managers has launched two new Special Funds to increase access to global investments for Kenyan investors. The funds, named Britam Enhanced Global Equities Special Fund and Britam Multi Asset Special Fund, were approved by the Capital Markets Authority.

The new funds aim to provide Kenyan investors with exposure to global equities and a broader range of local and international investment opportunities. This expansion comes as the country’s collective investment scheme market approaches KSh1 trillion in assets. The funds are part of Britam’s strategy to diversify investment options and support market growth.

The launch follows a trend of increasing investment opportunities in Kenya, with more financial institutions introducing products tailored to local needs. The expansion of the CIS market reflects growing confidence in the country’s financial sector and increasing interest from both retail and institutional investors. The new funds are expected to contribute to the continued growth of the market, which has seen significant expansion in recent years.
