Four Kenyan women have won a tech competition by creating an AI-powered platform to improve fare collection in public transport. Mary Wangui, Linet Mugwanja, Aisha Barasa, and Cynthia Chepkorir were named overall winners of the third edition of the GirlCode Kenya Hackathon. The competition, held over two days at Konza Technopolis, saw 44 young participants compete to develop innovative solutions for local challenges.
