The Health Ministry has clarified that the suspension of hotel meetings was only intended for its own staff. The department emphasized that the restriction was limited to its own personnel and should not be interpreted as a government-wide ban on hotel meetings.
The clarification came after reports suggested the policy might apply more broadly. Officials stated the measure was taken to ensure safety protocols were followed during the ongoing Ebola outbreak. The ministry confirmed that external meetings with private sector representatives or other government departments were not affected.
This follows recent outbreaks in several regions, prompting increased health measures. The ministry has been working closely with local authorities to monitor the situation and implement preventive strategies. The clarification aims to avoid confusion and ensure that essential meetings can continue without unnecessary disruption.
