A missing activist was found injured and disoriented in the Lukenya area of Mlolongo after walking for several hours. Boniface Mulinge Muteti, who had gone missing, was discovered by a Good Samaritan at a petrol station around 3:00 am. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The discovery came days after another activist, Collins Otieno, was reported missing. Human rights activist Hussein Khalid expressed concern over Otieno’s whereabouts, raising the alarm following Muteti’s reappearance. Khalid called for Otieno’s immediate release, emphasizing the risks faced by human rights workers.
Muteti’s condition remains unclear, though he was reportedly disoriented when found. No official statement has been released regarding his health or the circumstances of his disappearance. Authorities have not yet commented on the case.
