The Social Health Authority program aims to provide affordable healthcare access to Kenyan citizens. However, many residents in rural areas remain unaware of or underutilize the benefits. Lesuuda’s message is directed at families with children, elderly members, and those with chronic conditions.
The MP urged community leaders to assist in spreading awareness about the importance of health insurance. He noted that early registration could prevent financial strain during medical crises. Local health officials have also been advised to support the initiative by providing information sessions.
