Kenya has launched a new live wildlife broadcasting initiative called KenyaLIVE, designed to reach more than 500,000 daily viewers across international digital platforms. The project, launched on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, is part of the country's efforts to promote its conservation and tourism sectors globally.
The initiative, developed in partnership with WildEarth KE Productions, will provide real-time coverage of wildlife in Kenya’s national parks and reserves. Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano emphasized the importance of the project in showcasing Kenya’s natural heritage and attracting international visitors.
The broadcast will be available on 16 global platforms, allowing audiences from around the world to experience Kenya’s wildlife in real time. The government hopes the initiative will enhance Kenya’s reputation as a leading destination for wildlife conservation and eco-tourism.
The project is expected to generate additional revenue for conservation efforts and support local communities through tourism-related activities.
