Airtel Money Kenya, in partnership with ChildFund, has begun construction of new classrooms, toilets, and water facilities at two schools in Marigat, according to local media. The project, valued at Sh37 million, aims to improve infrastructure and support education in the region.

The initiative includes the construction of three new classrooms, two toilets, and a water facility at each school. The work is expected to be completed within six months. Officials from both organizations confirmed the project is part of a broader effort to enhance educational conditions in rural areas.

Marigat, located in South Sudan’s Unity State, has faced challenges in providing adequate educational resources. The new facilities are intended to address shortages and improve access to basic services for students. This investment follows previous collaborations between Airtel Money and ChildFund in other parts of Kenya and South Sudan.
