A Zimbabwean businessman and his wife were among six people killed in a helicopter crash in the Marondera rural area, about 70 kilometers east of Harare, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The helicopter, carrying the couple and four others, crashed near Kudenga Farm. Zimbabwean police confirmed the incident, stating all six people on board died.
The deceased businessman, Wicknell Chivayo, was a prominent figure in Zimbabwean business and politics.
